ITOKI CORPORATION (Head office: Joto-ku, Osaka; President: Tadashi Matsui; hereafter “ITOKI”) will offset all carbon emissions generated from one year of operation of the ITOKI Tokyo Innovation Center, SYNQA, established in November 2012 in Kyobashi, Tokyo.

ITOKI entered the emissions trading business fully on November 7, 2011, providing carbon offsetting services for customers. With three types of services-(1) carbon offsetting agency, (2) global greenhouse gas (hereafter, "GHG") emissions calculation, and (3) support for credit issuance-ITOKI provides customers with optimal carbon management solutions. By applying the emissions trading business to our own facilities, we will make efforts to further contribute to global environment.

ITOKI will offset credits under the “Domestic Credit Utilization Scheme for Supporting Recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake”, contributing to the recovery of earthquake affected areas through CO₂ reduction activities in Japan.
