Project Concept

The Haneda Airport domestic terminal has been furnished with lobby chairs, specially designed with EconifaR using domestic lumber, suitable to give a warm welcome to the domestic and international guests who use the airport. With Mr. Keita Shimizu appointed as the industrial designer, it has turned into a sophisticated reception area that is one of the main entrances of Japan. Approximately 1,400 seats have been furnished around the central boarding gate in the Haneda Airport No.1 Terminal building which was completely refurbished. The shells made with the molded plywood and the cushions in the image of a wing produce a warm and luxurious space.
