Project Concept

Embodying the corporate policy through the work style reformation. "Creative Town" excites all visitors.

Hallo Day Co., Ltd. operates approximately fifty supermarkets called "Hallo Day," mostly in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. In 2014, more than fifty years since its foundation, the company decided to move from its aging main office and established the "Hallo Day Service Center." The new main office, "Hallo Day Service Center," has resolved all issues posed by the old office and became the office as the base for the company's management strategies to operate and manage each store.

Assignment

・Employees do not come up with a new idea unless they can enjoy working.

・On that account, an open and enjoyable office needs to be created.

Solutions

・Imagining the space where employees can work creatively as a “town,” we named the space “Creative Town.”

・Each floor is assigned with the town-related keywords and created with the conceptual interior stimulating the sensitivity of the employees.

・The playful artwork and the space encouraging the sharing of ideas are provided on each floor.

・To promote the vitalization of creativity and communication, four spaces were created: “Co-creation,” “Creation,” “Discussion” and “Asset.”
